The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett expanded to include characters from the animated shows like The Clone Wars and Rebels, while featuring an actor who first appeared in prequel movie, albeit as a different character. While the sequel trilogy- The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Rise of Skywalker-largely focused on a new cast of characters, a handful of original trilogy characters (Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, R2D2, C3PO, and, somehow, Palpatine) figured into the fun. The Disney era of Star Wars has given fans of the galaxy far, far, away new stories of just about every era.
